Roadrunners inhabit the desert scrub, arid washes, and rocky canyon country of the Bears Ears and Cedar Mesa. They are non-migratory year-round residents and you often see them darting around. They thrive in open, arid landscapes with scattered pinyon-juniper, sagebrush, greasewood, and rocky outcroppings.
This piece is part of my solo show "Landscape Holds Memory" on exhibit November 13, 2026 to January 8, 2027 at the Sears Art Museum Eccles Grand Foyer Gallery in St. George Utah.
