Long-Eared Owls have super big ear tufts…not ears, just super long feather tufts atop their heads. They hunt mostly at night, or sometimes at dawn or dusk, and fly silently back and forth locating prey by hearing. Thank you to Karen Jackson for letting me use her photo as reference.
