Down along the Madison River in Yellowstone I had the pleasure of hanging out with elk who seemed unconcerned by my presence. Elk are very hardy animals and herds of them can double in 5 years. When they become resident instead of migrating, they can negatively impact agricultural land. I took so many awesome photographs of them.
