This piece of art was on exhibit at the Crossroads Carnegie in Baker, Oregon, March 5 - 28th, 2026.
You hear them long before you see them…their cacophony of calls announcing their arrival. Along the Boise River you find huge flocks of them. I took tons of photos and videos of them a couple years ago. I was told that they like to stay overnight in agricultural fields, then breakfast before heading to the river area to rest for the day, and reverse the process in the afternoon.
NOTE: This painting comes unframed but wired to hang. It is a 2" deep canvas with sides painted black so no frame is needed.
