The Spirit of the West - National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center Flagstaff Gallery

The Spirit of the West exhibition explores the heritage and legacy of Eastern Oregon and the American West in this exciting exhibition.

Inspired by history, culture, wildlife, and the landscape of the West, this exhibition features the work of regional artists. Spirit of the West will be on display from November 12th through January 31st with an Artist Reception on December 12th from 3pm to 5pm.   Set on a hillside with stunning views, the center features hands-on exhibits, life-size displays, and a replica wagon camp. The 500-acre site includes remnants of the historic Flagstaff Gold Mine and original ruts carved by pioneer wagons. Through engaging presentations and programs, the Center honors the legacy of the Oregon Trail, providing a fascinating look at the hardships and adventures that defined this pivotal chapter in American history.
